Architecture - some see it as nothing more than constructing a building, others see it as the science of artistic design. It is fascinating how a modern high-rise building gives a town presence. It gives a certain majestic atmosphere that must be seen in person to understand. Not only is architecture the art of designing an ergonomically pleasing and useful building, but it is also something that requires an artist's eye. Shapes, curves, reflections; they all contribute to the work of art that is a building.
Taking photos of architecture is akin to art within an art. One must showcase the building's curves and shapes in a photographically pleasing light, a daunting task

Glassware Still Life Pt. 3 of 5

Sometimes, the pressures of marketing are too strong. We fall into a state of brand-obsession. People begin to live with a social bias, assuming that those wearing different brands are of lower moral or social fiber. Adding to this effect, many television programs promote this social intolerance, and soil society as we know it.

Glassware Still Life Pt. 2 of 5

As we grow, our tastes change. We mature in class, tact, and overall social aptitude. An important part of this acquired class is our choice of drink. We begin early, learning that quality of drink plays an important role in the enjoyability of the cocktail, the dinner it may accompany, and finally the general ambiance of an occasion . A low quality base makes for an unpleasant experience. This fact we see exploited by advertising and marketing campaigns everywhere.
On the corner of every fashionable locale downtown, countless ads picture haute-couture, high quality products, whether they be clothing, automobiles, alcohol or other vices. Swamped with advertisements from the plethora of brands, one begins to debate whether or not there is a noticeable difference between the vast majority of them. With the onslaught of brands vieing for our attention in order to make their way into our glasses, the second part of this series reflects the watchful eye of advertising campaigns waiting to strike.
A study of negative space, and depth of field.

Glassware Still Life Pt. 1 of 5

There is just something about simple glassware. Еxuding elegance and style, it makes a person want to dress in a fine, Italian pinstriped suit, pick up a glass and have a nice dinner alongside it. For the fashionista in many of us, I felt that a glassware series was simply too appropriate now that the New Year, with its many upscale and themed parties, is fast upon us.
Ask yourself, how did something so short end up in something so tall? A twist on the old tale of Cat in a Tree, perhaps. A study of negative space and hi-key.
